We accept Returns initially at the buyers expense but if the return reason is due to faulty manufacture this will be reimbursed & a replacement dispatched.
The NABD is a Registered Charity, open to anyone with an interest in motorcycling. Our aim is to help get disabled people to enjoy independent motorcycling, however they came by their disability, whether by accident, through illness, or from birth.
There is a common misconception that you have to be Disabled to join the NABD. This could not be further from the truth - we welcome, indeed we rely upon, able bodied people to help carry out our aims, of assisting Disabled Bikers to get on the road under their own steam.
There are several options for Membership of the NABD, as follows: -
Individual Membership - For one Adult.
Family Membership - For up to two Adults, and two children (under 16 on date of joining).
Junior Membership - For one child (under 16 on date of joining).
Lifetime Membership - One payment, no renewals.
Privacy: We do not share information with anyone. Your personal details will be used only for our own administrative purposes.
As a NABD Member you will be joining an expanding family throughout the UK, Eire, Isle of Man and Channel Isles, helping to ensure that people with disabilities have access to the freedom and independence of motorcycling.
You will receive a Membership Card, NABD Member Patch and a Year Bar for each year of membership. You will also receive the quarterly Open House magazine, as One printed copy annually, others issues as e-magazines.
You will also be entitled to discounts on the NABD Merchandise, available from the NABD Online Shop, NABD Office & the National Information & Advice Stall, at bike shows and rallies.
You will also be able to benefit from discounts as offered by our Business Affiliates, including savings on your Bike or Car Insurance!
What do we get from you becoming a member?
Your Annual Membership fees go towards the running costs of the Association that are not covered by sponsorship for specific purposes like insuring the NABD Van. These costs include rent of the office in Manchester and the office utility bills etc..
This means that every penny that goes into a Donation Pot or Bucket, or is received from a sponsored event goes directly into the Adaptations Fund to help more people with disabilities to have motorcycles, trikes, sidecars or quad-cycles adapted to suit their needs.
You can apply by post or online. Please allow up to 21 days for delivery.

The NABD is registered with the HMRC for Gift Aid and the Gift Aid Small Donations Scheme which lets us claim back 25p from the Tax Man for every £1 we collect or is donated, if eligible under the scheme. For this to apply we need a Declaration from you when you make that donation. The declaration is below and we simply need you to type the word Yes into the box on your donation or Membership Application.
This will not cost you any more, but we can then claim the money back from the HMRC.
"I want to Gift Aid my current donation and any donations I may make in the future or have made in the past 4 years to the National Association for Bikers with a Disability (NABD).
I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference.
I will notify the NABD of any change in my personal circumstances, such as name and address, or that I no longer pay UK Income or Capital Gains tax or I wish to cancel the declaration."
